Rivers and Recyclable Picnic Tables
Named after the River Ribble in Lancashire, these recycled plastic picnic tables are made from entirely recycled sources and are themselves; endlessly recyclable, like the rivers they're named after. Because they're made from recycled plastic; which would of course ordinarily end up in landfill or incinerators, we feel it can be of great contribution in reducing pollution, and is an intelligent way to make use of the multitude of plastic waste just sitting in landfill and never deteriorating - using the natural flow of the river as our greatest inspiration.
To put things into perspective, our 1.5m Ribble range tables are equivalent to approximately 255 four pint plastic milk cartons, with the 2m version approximately 375 cartons. We feel preventing this many cartons from entering landfill can make a significant change in reducing plastic pollution for generations to come, and we'd rather have our recycled plastic in a loop; being turned into usable sustainable products, rather than have them pile up in landfill. We feel that's a must.
But not only that, but that the product should be of a high quality and out perform all other products on the market. Which this certainly does as it doesn't rot, warp, crack, chip or splinter, has the highest level of UV protection and is impervious to moisture, frost, insects and fungus. This is a great eco-friendly table with excellent whole life cost that will save you time, money, and hopefully the planet!
