Manufacturing Sustainable Cladding
Friday, 10 August 2018 | Lewis
Our Cladding starts out as old CD cases, contact lens cases and other discarded plastic waste. This is cleaned and turned into small plastic pellets where it eventually gets mixed with a colour and extruded into Cladding profiles.
Recycled Plastic Cladding profiles are completely rot proof, never splinter or crack, are impervious to water, frost and insects, UV protected against fading and 100% maintenance-free. This offers huge savings on labour and materials for decades to come as well as protecting the environment from contamination with discarded plastic.
Using old waste plastic to construct building materials is a fantastic way to ensure the longevity of your construction project and simultaneously reduce its carbon footprint.
The environmental consequences of plastic waste pollution are well documented and have mobilized companies and governments world-wide to explore alternative solutions.
Here in the North West of England we have a history of innovation and at Kedel Limited, a family business based in Burnley, Lancashire, we're continuing in that tradition.
We offer a choice of recycled plastic cladding styles and colours, along with matching corner trim and all with a 25 Year Materials Guarantee.

You can see our Recycled Plastic Cladding up close and in-person at the The Build Show during the 9th and 11th of October 2018. Get your FREE ticket here.
Due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions we are experiencing unusually high volumes of orders, plus Royal Mail and hauliers report up to 5 times more packages than normal. Delivery times given are therefore our best estimates. We also regret that customer collections from our Burnley unit are by appointment only.
